Any member of staff using a computer is legally entitled to regular eye examinations, funded by their employer.

We will provide a questionnaire beforehand to help staff prepare for their appointment, and a written report afterwards that outlines any advice we have given. The results often improve visual comfort and efficiency.

Should staff require spectacles specifically for computer use, then the employer is legally obliged to make these available. We can provide a range of economically priced spectacles that combine value for money with durability in use.

Alternatively, employees can upgrade to a smarter frame by paying the difference. If spectacles are required for general use, such as driving, it is the responsibility of the employee to pay for these themselves.
